Typeface: Zarotus

This text typeface is a revival based on the work of Antonius Zarotus, an Italian Renaissance printer. In books of that period, irregularities in paper and ink mean that no two letters are printed the same. In creating a revival, the type designer has to decide what to take from the original and what to reinvent.
