Google Font: Staatliches


Produced with Brian LaRossa of Type Brut and in partnership with Google Fonts, this typeface was designed in response to Herber Beyer’s lettering for the cover of the first Bauhaus exhibition catalog, published in 1923. My job was to prepare existing files for production and expand the typeface for more extensive language support.
